leading New England in worship since 2006
It has been way, way, too long! We pray everyone is healthy and staying safe. This message has been a long time coming and we have not been looking forward to writing it. As you know, it has been nearly two years now since we've been able to gather for a LIFT event. It's hard to say when we would be able to get back to events the way we knew them before COVID. We are now living in different times and a different world in many ways. This probably will not come as too much of a surprise, but after some prayer and discussion, we have decided to bring to an end our time as a ministry.
Our deep desire has always been to bring Catholics of all ages together in worship of our Eucharistic Lord. Since 2006, we have invited people to come and pray with us - to spend time praising the Lord, to hear His voice through inspiring talks, to adore Him in Eucharistic Adoration, and to experience His mercy in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. It is impossible to accurately express the countless ways you have blessed us these past 15 years. People will often comment to us what a blessing these nights are. Well, it has been even more of a blessing for us to serve you through this ministry. You have inspired us with your faith, you have moved us with the way you respond to Jesus as He walks among you during Eucharistic Adoration, you have increased our trust in the Lord by providing the means to be able to pay our bills for 15 years through your generosity.
As we reflect, the words that most come to mind are thankful, humbled, and blessed. THANK YOU for being a part of our LIFT family. Whether you came to one event, or were a regular, your presence has blessed us and left an imprint on our hearts.
Our website will be active through the end of 2021. We have setup a Memory Wall where you can leave a comment, testimonial, memory, favorite photo or video. We would love to have you share something with us.
In closing, know that you will continue to be in our hearts and in our prayers. We hope that you will continue to look for opportunities to worship Our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration. God bless you and keep you safe!
